Sony’s new 1000XM4 headphone specs leaked online
Sony has yet to make an announcement on its newly unlaunched WH-1000XM4 noise-cancelling headphones. However, full specifications of the headphones have been leaked in a new listing on Walmart’s website.
According to the listing, the headphones will feature new AI features to enhance compressed music, the ability to connect to multiple devices at once, and a $348 price tag, via Android Police.
Most of the 1000XM4s appear to be identical to the M3s, with what appears to be a similar design, noise-cancellation technology, USB-C fast charging, support for Sony’s LDAC transmission technology, and touchpad controls.
New to the M4 model is a connect to two Bluetooth devices option and a new Adaptive Sound Control feature that allows users to set custom settings profiles for different locations through Sony’s companion app.
Lastly, the 1000XM4s will also feature a new version of Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine technology, DSEE Extreme.
