Oppo launches new Reno 7 5G launches in South Africa
Oppo announced that its new Reno 7 5G smartphone is now available in South Africa.
The Reno 7 features a 6.4in AMOLED display with a hole-punch cut out hosting the front-facing 32MP camera sensor with an IMX 615 sensor. The screen supports a 90Hz refresh rate and it comes with an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
According to Oppo, this gives the camera enhanced performance in low light and when delivering photos with a low depth of field.
The main camera which is found on the rear-end of the device, features a triple-lens camera consisting of 64MP, 8MP, and 2MP lenses.
Oppo’s Reno 7 is powered by a 4,500mAh battery, which supports 65W SuperVooc charging technology. The company adds that it’ll get the phone fully charged in about 35 minutes.
Other specs include 8GB of RAM and a MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G SoC chipset. The device also supports 5G, Android 12 and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

The Oppo Reno 7 5G has a recommended cash price of R15 499 in South Africa and will be available on 24 and 36-month contracts, starting from R749 and R549 per month.

The company added that when you purchase the device you will also get a set of Oppo’s Enco Buds, a 65W charge block, and one free screen repair. If you break it within six months of purchase.
