Montagu gets a new brand identity. See new logo
CAPE TOWN – South African snack foods brand Montagu announced that it has updated its brand identity, by creating a new logo and packaging redesign.
Created in partnership with creative agency, Just Design, Montagu's new look was created to reflect the brand’s story of “quality snacks with small-town goodness”.
Chief executive Lourens van Rensburg. said in a statement: “Montagu’s iconic bright orange branding is well-recognised amongst its target audience and it would not be wise to alter it too drastically at this point. Whilst the colour remains a key part of the brand’s identity, the new logo features a cleaner design against a white canvas and is accented with a look and feel that is unmistakably wholesome, simple and contemporary.”

The company added that it will be increasing its retail distribution and that changes will take effect as of August this year.
