H&M to collab with SA designer Palesa Mokubung
CAPE TOWN – H&M announced its first African collaboration with South African designer, Palesa Mokubung and her fashion label, Mantsho.
Established in 2004 and featured on many runway shows in the US, Greece, India and more the big fans of the Mantsho label will be able to get their hands on the collection from the 15th of August this year, will be sold in all South African stores as well as exclusive flagships around the world and all H&M online markets.
Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M's assortment manager for collaborations and special collections said in a statement: "We love how she works with colour, print and silhouettes enhancing the female shape in a flattering and playful way.”

Palesa Mokubung took to Instagram to announce the collaboration stating that she is excited to announce her collaboration with H&M to create Mantsho x HM.
In the post, she said: "This is truly a dream come true for me. To be the first South African designer to have their own collection in H&M South Africa stores & exclusive H&M flagship store worldwide is quite an amazing feeling. This is such an exciting period of my life and I can't wait to share it with u. The collection will be available from 15 August 2019. Get ready for Mantsho x HM."
