Builders voted South Africa's best DIY and Hardware store
Builders have been voted the best DIY and Hardware store in South Africa by the readers of The Star.
This is one of the many industry recognitions that the brand has received in the last month alone.

Existing for over two decades, these awards serve as a great accolade from consumers based on their experiences with various brands.
This special edition of The Star will feature a few businesses across various sectors and will showcase the consumers’ opinions with regards to service satisfaction levels over numerous categories.
Additionally, Builders have also come out top in the Youtube Ads Leaderboard for Q4 2021 for the latest instalment of their brand campaign which features real-life stories and DIY realities by real-life people.
These ads showcase the top 10 most attention-grabbing ads based on an algorithm that considers organic views and audience retention.
“We were aiming to make a series of ads that felt really warm and relatable to all types of South Africans. The idea was to showcase that Builders is for anyone, no matter their skill level and that a trip to builders is an investment in what you care about. It is important for us to make sure that everyone is represented and so we spoke to all types of South Africans in their homes. So, not only does this campaign reflect the experiences of real people, but it was also shot in real people’s homes with very little work done to doctor the sets,” said Venter.
