Apple could launch cheaper iPhone in 2020 - J.P. Morgan report
American investment bank J.P.Morgan in a note to CNBC stated that they expect Apple to launch a more affordable iPhone in 2020.
According to the report by CNBC, J.P. Morgan Analyst Samik Chatterjee said that Apple could launch of four iPhone models and that one of it will be a lower-cost iPhone that’s the same size as the iPhone 8 but without a 5G modem or OLED display.
Chatterjee added that he predicts that the other three 2020 iPhones are set to feature OLED displays and 5G modems, with at least two of these models also getting “3D Sensing (Time of Flight) driving industry-leading AR/VR capabilities”.
The report by added that J.P. Morgan predicts Apple will sell 195 million iPhones in 2020, up from an estimated 180 million in 2019.
