South Africa’s catalogue aggregator turns 11

Guzzle, South Africa’s leading retail catalogue aggregation platform, is celebrating its 11th birthday this July.

Established by visionary business leaders Ric Meulemans & Oliver Bryant in 2011, Guzzle has consistently broken new business grounds establishing itself as the only South African based (locally based team) catalogue aggregator business website which holds commercial relationships with SA retailers & brands.

Guzzles phenomenal business growth over the years has been characterized by website re-designs and the addition of a host of services to assist retailers with online catalogue distribution.

The business has also attracted valuable investment interest, such as the acquisition of a stake in Guzzle by Caxton & CTP Publishers & Printers, allowing Guzzle access to Caxton’s media sales division Hive Digital Media.

From its birthday in July 2021 to date, Guzzle has sent over 40 million newsletters, with over 51 million alerts being sent to users. Website traffic between July 2021 - June 2022 includes 6,622,646 users, 6,402,607 new users, 14,297,925 sessions, 2.16 number of sessions per user, page views 107,002,023,7.48 pages per session, average session duration being 00:03:42 with bounce rate being a minimal 12.12%.
