Samsung Pay now available to Standard Bank Mastercard Debit customers
Samsung announced that its mobile payments system Samsung Pay can now be used by Standard Bank Mastercard Debit customers in SA.
“Our collaboration with Standard Bank will open this innovative technology to more people. We’re confident that Standard Bank customers will embrace the convenience of Samsung Pay with great enthusiasm,” said Cambridge Mokanyane, Chief Marketing Officer at Samsung South Africa.
With a bank card loaded on a Samsung smartphone, paying is just a swipe, authenticate and tap away.

Samsung Pay can be downloaded, for free, from the Google Play Store or Galaxy Store depending on your Galaxy device.

Samsung Pay can be used on the following devices: Galaxy S10+, S10, S10e, Galaxy Note 10+, Note 10, Note 9, Note 8, S9/S9+, S8/S8+, S7/S7 edge, A9, A80, A8, A70, A7 (2017), A5 (2017), Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Gear S3 and Gear Sport Watch.
