Samsung Expands AI Accessibility With New Galaxy A56, A36 & A26 5G
Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd has unveiled the Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G, the latest Galaxy A series smartphones. For the first time, the Galaxy A series integrates Awesome Intelligence, bringing Galaxy’s AI-powered features to reimagine creativity while enhancing durability, longevity and security for a safe and long-lasting mobile experience.
Awesome Intelligence for Advanced Search and Creativity
Awesome Intelligence, available exclusively on the Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G, offers users powerful and intuitive AI tools. Powered by One UI 7, these features enhance search and visual experiences.
A fan-favourite on Galaxy A series devices last year, Google’s enhanced Circle to Search makes discovering information easier than ever. With the latest upgrades, users can now take action directly from their screen, as Circle to Search quickly recognises phone numbers, email addresses and URLs.
With recent enhancements, users can also search for songs instantly without switching apps. Whether a song is playing on social media or through nearby speakers, long-pressing the navigation bar and tapping the music button allows effortless song identification.
The Galaxy A series also elevates the camera experience with creator-focused tools, including a 50MP main lens on all devices and 10-bit HDR front lens recording on the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G for bright, crisp selfies. The Galaxy A56 5G features a 12MP ultra-wide lens, while the entire series offers intelligent visual editing for more creative possibilities.
Exclusively on the Galaxy A56 5G, Best Face ensures the perfect group shot by selecting and combining the best expressions from a motion photo for up to five people. The device also enhances Nightography[3], with Low Noise Mode now available on the 12MP selfie camera and additional wide camera support for better low-light photography.
The Galaxy A series includes a refined Object Eraser, allowing users to remove unwanted distractions from photos. Whether eliminating a passerby or a distracting shadow, users can manually or automatically erase objects for a cleaner, more polished final image. Filters further enable custom filter creation by extracting colours and styles from existing photos, allowing users to personalise their edits effortlessly.
Built to Last With Upgraded Displays and Software Longevity
With up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and six years of security updates, the Galaxy A series is designed for long-term performance.
The Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with brightness up to 1200 nits for an immersive viewing experience. New stereo speakers provide richer, more balanced sound.
A 5,000mAh battery powers all three models, with the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G supporting 45W charging and Super-Fast Charge 2.0 for quicker power-ups. The Galaxy A56 5G is powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset, while the Galaxy A36 5G features the Snapdragon® 6 Gen 3 Mobile Platform. A larger vapour chamber in both models helps sustain performance for smooth gameplay, video playback and multitasking.
For the first time, the Galaxy A26 5G features an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, matching the Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A56 5G. Additionally, an advanced Corning® Glass cover provides added durability against scratches and cracks.
Expanded Protections for Security and Privacy
With One UI 7, the Galaxy A series enhances security and privacy through Samsung Knox Vault, ensuring sensitive data stays protected. One UI 7 also introduces Theft Detection, more security settings and other features[10].
Upon release, Digital Key will be available on the Galaxy A56 5G[11] and Galaxy A36 5G[12] in select markets across Asia, Europe and North America, with more regions to follow.

The Galaxy A56 5G is available in Awesome Black and Awesome Olive. The Galaxy A36 5G comes in Awesome Black and Awesome Lime, while the Galaxy A26 5G is offered in Black and Mint.
