Pokemon to get a cloud-service and new games for Nintendo
CAPE TOWN – Pokemon announced at an event called the preview of the future of Pokémon, the company announced new updates and games coming soon.
The first announcement made was that the company is going to launch a new cloud service, called Pokémon Home.
Users will be able to store all of their captured monsters from various games in one place. It’s launching in early 2020 for iOS, Android, and Switch.
The second announcement was that Detective Pikachu, the Nintendo 3DS game that inspired the movie, is coming to the Switch.
Another big announcement was the company will launch a new game in 2020, called Pokémon Sleep, which is designed by getting some sleep.
According to the company, the game will give players a reason to look forward to waking up in the morning.
The company has also partnered with Nintendo on a new sleep-tracking device called the Pokémon Go Plus + that will connect to the popular mobile game, which itself will receive gameplay updates designed around sleep and rest.
No other details about this new game have been revealed.
