Nokia C2 will be available in South Africa for R1499
HMD Global announced that Nokia will be launching a new affordable smartphone in South Africa this week called the Nokia C2.
The device features a 5.7-inch display with a generous 1440×720 resolution and will run Android Go.
Powered by a 2800mAh battery, a Unisoc chipset with 4G support, the Nokia C2 also features a 1GB wad of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with support for a microSD card.
The device also features a 5MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus and a 5MP selfie camera that can record in 720p up to 30 frames per second.
It will also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, a micro-USB port for data and charging, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, an FM radio and AGPS.
The device will cost R1499 and will be available in the colours charcoal or cyan green.
