Motorola launches new One Zoom quad-camera smartphone
Motorola unveiled its new One Zoom smartphone at the Lenovo Tech Life event at IFA 2019 in Berlin, Germany.
The new device boasts a quad-lens camera system on the rear -end of the phone with AI technology to deliver the best photos possible in a variety of lighting situations.
The Motorola One Zoom also boasts a 6.4-inch high-resolution OLED display, has an in-screen fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 9.
The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset, has 4GB RAM and 12GB of storage space that can be increased with Micro SD support.
There is currently no information available regarding the South African release date or local pricing for these two new smartphones.
The Motorola One Zoom has a 48MP main camera, supplemented by a trio of specialised lenses such as an 8MP telephoto camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) with – up to 10x hybrid zoom, a 117-degree ultrawide lens and 5MP depth camera.
The device also has a 25MP front-facing camera placed in a small notch at the top of the device.
The device will be available in three colour options, Electric Gray, Brushed Bronze, and Cosmic Purple
South African availability and pricing are yet to be announced.
