Massmart’s Trojan Pro Series Wins Men’s Health Award
As more South Africans opt to train at home, the demand for higher-quality home gym equipment has increased.
The Massmart-owned Trojan Health brand has built a reputation as Africa’s leading home fitness brand over the past 42 years and in 2022, it launched the Trojan Pro Series to offer a premium option to customers looking to take their fitness to the next level.
The Trojan Pro Series consists of high-specification, semi-commercial fitness equipment including treadmills, stationary bikes and multi-functional home gyms.
Its unique positioning in the market has been recognised in the recent 2024 Men’s Health Fitness Awards, where the Pro Series treadmill was voted as the winner of its category by the Men’s Health team.
In reviewing the product, Men’s Health commended the Trojan Pro Series treadmill’s ‘robust continuous motor, cushioned impact zones that minimize stress on joints, and the 15.6” display that shares important training data - like distance, time and heart rate.’

The Trojan Series Pro treadmill is available exclusively at Makro stores and is currently retailing at R29,999.
