Huawei P40 Lite to arrive in SA the 18th of May
Huawei South Africa confirmed the Huawei P40 Lite will be available in the country by the 18th of May 2020, as long as all things go smoothly during South Africa’s current phased lockdown.
The company noted that the recommended retail price on the P40 Lite is R6 499.
The P40 Lite features a 6.4-inch Punch FullView Display, 90.6% screen-to-body ratio and 48MP quad-camera, this handset is all about creating and viewing high-quality visuals.
The camera’s four lenses allow you to capture high-resolution, ultra-wide, macro and portrait shots that are so sharp and vivid, you’d be forgiven for confusing them with photographs taken by a professional camera.
Superior low-lighting and night images are also made possible by the Super Night Mode 2.0 feature, which is supported by both the front and rear cameras.
The camera consists of a 48MP wide-angle, 8MP ultra-wide-angle, 2MP macro and 2MP bokeh option on call and a 16MP selfie camera.
This technology brightens dark areas, enhances skin tones and facial features, and reduces noise, creating crisp and beautiful shots of everything from starry skies to late-night selfies.
Its video functionality is of equal quality and comes with a powerful AI video editor to make editing easier. The video editor can intelligently trim footage, add background music, and easily incorporate various transition effects. The smartphone’s video editing tools enable you to shoot, edit and upload your videos and vlogs in a matter of minutes.
The P40 Lite is powered by a 4200mAh battery, features 40W supercharging support, comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a headphone jack.
The P40 Lite will run on Android 10 and will not feature any Google Mobile Services or any Google apps but will have Huawei’s set of mobile services and apps.
The P40 lite will be available later this month from the www.huaweistore.co.za and all mobile operators.
