Huawei announces launch date for Mate 30
Huawei has announced that its Mate 30 premium smartphone will launch on 19 September at an event under the theme, “Rethink Possibilities” in Munich, Germany.
The company confirmed this date with a teaser video posted to its Twitter page.
Just last week news broke that the Huawei Mate 30 device will reportedly not feature official Google apps.
This according to a report by Reuters which stated that an unnamed Google spokesperson has told that the smartphone will not be sold with any official Google apps like YouTube, Maps or Gmail.
The spokesman told Reuters the Mate 30 cannot be sold with licensed Google apps and services due to the US ban on sales to Huawei.
However, Huawei added that it is committed to ensuring that its smartphones continue to run Android and keep its partnership with Leica to bring its customers great camera technology.
