HP unveils new Pavilion laptops coming to SA

HP has announced that it will launch the newest HP Pavilion x360 14 and 15 in South Africa.

The new laptops are aimed at consumers looking for versatile 2-in-1 laptops with a compact design and is the company's first consumer notebook range that uses post-consumer-recycled and ocean-bound plastics.

The company stated that the laptops some of its most sustainable consumer laptops to date, thanks to their use of recycled plastic and aluminium.

“Both the x360 14 and 15 also contain post-consumer recycled plastic and are EPEAT Gold Registered and Energy Star Certified,” the company said in a statement.

Each laptop can be used in tablet mode by folding the hinge backwards and features a touchscreen display. Both laptops also have optional Wi-Fi 6 support.

The Pavilion laptop range also comes in a new tonal colour-blocking design and feature 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics.

They are optimized for streaming, according to HP — both in terms of streaming media content, and streaming gameplay using remote play applications. As such, the devices feature a simplified version of OMEN Gaming Hub preinstalled.

Both laptops will be available from 21 June in multiple configurations.

The HP Pavilion x360 14 will start from R11 999.
