Guess launches flagship concept store in Menlyn Park

Guess has launched its first flagship concept store in Pretoria, in Menlyn Park Shopping Centre.

The new concept store has been rolled out internationally, as part of Guess’ elevation strategy in some of the world’s most fashionable cities like Barcelona, Amsterdam, Murcia and Budapest as well as local cities, Sandton, and the V&A Waterfront.

Last year, the company launched its first flagship concept store in South Africa, in Sandton City.

"We are very proud of our new concept store. The whole store is a special feature and is on par with the top Guess stores in the world. It’s been expertly designed to create separate areas, creating a natural and comfortable feel within a 450m2 space. We have installed state-of-the-art lighting that is incorporated into the glass shelving. The high shopfront with the iconic, back-lit Guess campaign image is inviting and speaks of the luxury you’ll find inside," said Bernard Mostert, CEO of Guess’ holding company, FrontierCo, in a statement.

Guess has 25 product categories in over 100 countries with roughly 1,000 directly operated stores worldwide and 1,600 stores in total.

Guess operates an omnichannel business model, selling via multiple touchpoints such as e-commerce, retail and, particularly important in Europe, wholesale where Guess maintains a network of around 4,000 wholesale customers.
