ASUS launches ROG Phone II, ideal for gaming
ASUS announced that it has launched a second-generation ROG Phone II, designed for heavy mobile gamers.
The device features Qualcomm’s latest chip the Snapdragon 855 Plus, a 120Hz display, 12GB of RAM, 512GB storage, and a 3D vapour chamber cooling system.
The device is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery, has a fingerprint sensor under the screen and will run an Android 9.
It features a 6.59” diagonal screen size with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, a rear-end camera with 48MP + 13MP sensors and a selfie camera with a 24MP sensor.
It also has a USB Type-C port on the bottom of the device, Twin speakers with DTS:X Ultra processing pump out crisp audio for games, movies, or music and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
ASUS said in a statement: "Just over a year ago, the Republic of Gamers infused our battle-hardened DNA into a phone for the first time ever. Now it’s time to power up and go beyond. The ROG Phone II incorporates everything we’ve learned from our first foray into high-end gaming phones and then some to create another pocketable gaming powerhouse."
