See how much the new Apple iPad Mini 2021 will cost you in South Africa

iStore South Africa announced that the new Apple iPad Mini will be available in South Africa, with several configurations to choose from.

Pre-orders for the device is now available and customers can get all of the variations in Apple’s new colour lineup: starlight (white), space grey, purple and pink. 

The iPad Mini features an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display with an anti-reflective screen coating and a P3 wide colour gamut.

It also features an updated ultrawide front camera with a 12MP sensor,  an A15 Bionic chip that delivers a 40% increase in performance from the previous processor and Touch ID has moved up to the top right corner and a USB-C port be found along the base. 

Users can enable Center Stage which automatically pans the camera to keep users in view.

The Mini runs iPadOS 15 that has features such as Live Text, Quick Note, and new widget layouts.

Pre-orders for the 6th-gen iPad Mini are now open on the iStore website.

Four different configurations of the Mini are available, featuring different memory and connectivity options.

iPad Mini (6th gen) Wi-Fi 256GB - R11 699

iPad Mini (6th gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular 64GB - R11 699

iPad Mini (6th gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular 256GB - R14 399

Customers can get up to R8 000 cashback for their previous iPad when they upgrade to the new iPad Mini. They will receive a trade-in value upfront. The iStore also offers a trade-in option for old devices.

They can also trade their old devices in for an iStore gift card that they can then use at a later date.
