Rihanna's Fenty Beauty brand will be available in South Africa

Renowned music artist and businesswoman Rihanna and her cosmetics line, Fenty Beauty and her skincare line, Fenty Skin announced that they will finally be making its way to Africa. 

The African countries that will be able to purchase Fenty products from May 27, are Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Rihanna made the announcement on her Twitter account, writing: "I've been waiting for this moment!! @fentybeauty & @fentyskin are finally dropping in AFRICA!! Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe... we comin at ya May 27th and that's just the beginning!!! #FentyAfrica."

 

 

When one Twitter user questioned where South Africans would be able to purchase Fenty products, a tweet from the official Fenty account revealed that ARC and Edgars would be stocking Fenty Beauty and Fenty skin products. 

 Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Fenty launched the brand in 2017, the brand was highly praised for its inclusivity as it covers a broad range of skin tones. At the launch, Rihanna said that she created the make-up line so that women everywhere would be able to use the products. 

Consumers will also be able to make a purchase on the Fenty Beauty website.
